What services do you offer?
The clinic provides comprehensive GP and allied health services, including general health check-ups, chronic disease management, vaccinations, antenatal care, women’s, men’s and children’s health, mental health care plans, minor procedures, wound care, pathology, preventative health screenings, sports injury care, PRP treatment, physiotherapy, dietetics, psychology, and aviation, occupational, and dive medicals.
Do you offer skin checks or mole checks?
Yes, the doctors perform full skin checks and can assess moles, sun damage, and skin cancer concerns. Referrals for further investigation or treatment are available if required.
What conditions can your doctors help with?
The independent GPs support patients with acute illnesses, chronic conditions, infections, allergies, injuries, respiratory issues, skin concerns, mental health, women’s and men’s health, paediatric care, and general wellbeing.
Do you provide vaccinations and travel vaccines?
The clinic offers routine immunisations for adults and children, seasonal flu vaccines, and selected travel vaccinations. Please call ahead to confirm travel vaccine availability.
What allied health services do you offer?
At Safety Beach, we provide physiotherapy, dietetics, psychology, remedial massage, and PRP treatment. Your GP can advise whether you’re eligible for Medicare-subsidised care plans.
Do you offer mental health support?
Yes. The clinic provides mental health care plans, counselling support, and referrals to psychologists or specialists as needed.
How do I make an appointment?
You can book online via our website, or call our reception team on 9070 8170, or book in person.
New patients require a long appointment.
Do you accept new patients?
Yes, we welcome new patients. A long appointment ensures we have enough time to understand your health needs.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We recommend booking ahead. However, limited walk-in or same-day appointments may be offered depending on availability, please call reception to check.
Do you offer same-day appointments?
Yes, we keep a small number of same-day appointments for urgent issues. Calling early in the day is recommended.
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes. Standard fees apply. Medicare rebates are available if you have attended the clinic in person within the past 12 months.
Can I get repeat prescriptions or referrals without an appointment?
Yes. Repeat prescription requests can be made via phone or online Quick Consults (fee: $25).
Scripts are issued at the doctor’s discretion and limited to a one-month supply.
For ongoing medication or referrals requiring repeats, please book an appointment.
How do I get my test results?
Your GP will advise when and how results should be reviewed. Most results require a follow-up appointment to ensure safe and clear communication.
