Safety Beach Medical Bulk Billing is available between 9am – 1pm for local residents only with valid concession and pension card holders and children 15 years and under.

Standard appointment $95 ($43.90 rebate)
Concession/Pension card holders $80 ($43.90 rebate)
Nurse Practitioner appointment $60 ($27.05 rebate)
Long appointment $140 ($84.90 rebate)
Concession/Pension card holders $130 ($84.90 rebate)
Bulk Billing
Available for local residents.
Children aged 15 years and under (local residents) are bulk billed all day.
Local residents with Concession and Pension cards will be bulk billed between 9am – 1pm.
All procedures will incur a private fee. We bulk bill Chronic Disease Management Plans.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointments and well-being are very important. Safety Beach Medical understand that sometimes unexpected delays can occur, meaning schedule adjustments are required. Please understand that appointment availability is limited. If you must cancel your appointment, please respectfully request 24hrs notice. Missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 24hrs notice will incur a non-rebatable $55 fee for GP and Allied Health appointments, including group sessions.
Prescriptions and referrals
Should you need a repeat prescription or repeat referral and are unable to make a timely appointment for this, for a fee, you may request your script/referral via Hotdocs as a “Quick Consult” or call reception.
This service is not intended to replace regular visits with your GP. Please do not request scripts for sleeping tablets, strong pain killers or any medication which requires a consultation to be prescribed. These will be declined.
Any medication your GP feels is not in your best interest to receive without a consultation will be declined.
The fee for these services is $25, payable at the time of the request.
Please allow up to 2 working days for your request to be fulfilled.

Skin Checks
Skin cancer check and skin lesion removals.
Skin checks and skin procedures may incur a private fee:
$140 (rebate $84.90) for skin check
$70 ($50 for concessions) out of pocket for all procedures.
If you find yourself in financial hardship and are not eligible for a concession card please discuss this with your GP during your consultation.

We are a private billing clinic.
• Pension/concession card holders: bulk billed 9am–1pm

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit/credit cards, EFTPOS and Medicare rebates. Payment is required on the day.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for GP appointments, or 48 hours for allied health.
Late cancellations or no-shows may attract a fee.
Can I get a medical certificate?
Yes. Medical certificates are issued following a consultation, either in-person or via eligible telehealth appointments.
